What of these peformances was the best ???
Tiesto, also because he was playing brilliant sets at TIC and his DVD Release Party. And don't forget to mention Tiesto @ Revolution...wow!
Armin comes close, but his lifesets are not that nice as Tiesto. The sets of Gielen and Ferry where not quite my taste. Gielen played a very bad set at Sensation...

Just teh other way around with me. I like Tiesto, but Armin is just a tiny bit better imo.

Not a hard vote for me, Armin.
Alot of Tiesto's set over the last yr have been littered with poor or average tracks, normally plays Traffic which is just awful. But when he's on old form, he's superb, when will we see that again? I don't know.
Nearly every Ferry set over a 2 month period is identical, then seems to start again. Lacking originality and inspiration it seems, don't know why, he was superb. Another tiesto situation i see, with someone who is a legend of trance.
PvD, never been a huge fan of PvD sets, just like Tiesto's this year, there's a number of poorer tracks including. There's been a few good sets, but not 1 i can think of where, i couldn't pick out at least 1 song i really didn't like.
Johan Gielen, not liking the style he's been taking on this year, simple as. His productions are going to the same way.
Armin although, some people think it maybe repetitive, it isn't. His style is far more varied than the others in what he plays, anywhere from pure prog upto uplifting trance, you always expect quality, and you normally get.

Thta's because my real name is Thijs (Tiesto's name is Tijs).
Rob tissera was one of the most on form DJs last year, along with Ferry corsten and PVD
i go for armin, it think this was the set played on one of the ASOT trance show last year? IF its so, the set is massive.
