When I visit other tranceboards and I see people talking about a new release
I see many people saying things like: "Just another trancer" huh.gif Or "The same as every track around blink.gif

When people love this music you just can't say "just another trancer"
That is the music genre where you are listening to dry.gif
But why do people say this ??
I find it very strange everytime I see it

Could everyone say why those people are saying this rolleyes.gif
Is it mayby because they love BoozyWoozy or Dana sad.gif and don't understand the true beauty of trance ??

I appreciate your help, because I want to know those people' reactions on a TRANCE-forum dry.gif

To be honest, i can never quite understand why people react in that manner, it doesn't make a great deal of sense to me at all.

When i hear a track, i normally have 4 responses - Wow, Decent, Alright, or Pants, but it's never 'just another trancer'.

If things become 'just another trancer' you are obviously bored of it because it all becomes the same, so it's time to look else where.

I don't check that much other forums but i think they just want to post something... and i bet they don't listen it to the end.. just skipping to the main part. And if it hasn't the "catchy thing" they post something like "" hmmz just another trancer,, same stuff again. "" wink.gif

But on the other hand there are many tracks which sound very similar to each other; many artists prefer to use always the same formula when creating songs. So maybe those comments are suitable in these cases? huh.gif

I think youre right Adict In Trance.

For the people who post this sort of reactions: If you call a track "just another trancer", you havnīt listend to the track well enough. If you donīt like the music or you donīt know annything about the music, huh.gif you canīt hear differences between the tracks. Songs can sound like each other but they are NEVER the same, or just "Trancers.." If trance is not your gerne, go listen to popmusic or something dry.gif

So as long as you donīt have a good opinion about a track, ---> shut up mad.gif

This is usually the problem with commercial tracks (not that ron van den beuken is really commercial). For example Boozywoozy, he uses the same sound for the melody over and over again, only the notes and the rhythm are different. That makes something "just another trancer". But you won't see people who produce real trance doing this kinda stuff. They always use different sounds, so if you look at the real trancers there isn't such thing like "just another trancer" cause every single tranck is different.

So all those ignorant, "i think i am a trance fan" people should get the f*ck out of here mad.gif

I always find it a pain in the arse explaing the 'real trance' style to my friends, they just seem a bit lost with it. They can't get over the flip and fill etc. To be honest this forum isn't as narrow as trance. It seems to embrace a bit of everything in true pioneering musical style!!!lol...

Why we take this s**tly dude. Not only him do like that. I could say that many of Mike tunes are the same sounds and style, also many of those dudes like Nickson, Hales, Shiver makes very similiar sound tunes. The diffreence between them is in melody which could be really strong or could suck, that's why, though styles are the same (kind of new non-commercial euro trance), tunes sounds a bit different and very good.

I could say that sometimes I have the same feeling about trance tunes, of course they are very good and even fantastic! But that start to look like replay. Most of new artists just copy the style of older ones, they make great tunes but sometimes I just get tired of those sounds and need to listen to something else, that's why i don't like them much. Good area of new music was prog trance, that's why I start to listen breaks & etc a while ago. A year ago I hate all this prog melodies, but now I can't live without them! Cause that's something different of "standart" trance music!

I need something new in music every year as we all I beleive, that's kind of human nature and I can't do anything with that. Latest really good trance tune that I've heard was Havannah, cause it have something new in it - not standart melody sounds. At the same time I could mention a dozen of prog tunes that are pure fantastic cause they are absolutely different then trance and sounds as good as latest uplifting hits.

Same thing in movie world. First Matrix was fantastic cause of superb absolutely new reality effects, u know what I'm talking about. But Reloaded and Revolutions is nothing comparing with part one cause nothing absolutely new was made since it.

It's the basic answer of a person who listens to trance, but isn't into trance.
You have to be a Trance-Addict to understand laugh.gif

I have fought in many verbal battles to convince some of my friends about the beauty of trance.
The answer I'm always getting: It's monoton (bass), same melodies, same buil-ups, and things like that. blink.gif

There is one thing I learned of all discussions:

One can't have a discussion about music-taste. Everyone has his own opinion.
So do I. But I thank God (and the DJ's) that Trance has come into my life long ago and I pray that it will never leave.

Cheers !

Trance is a way of living: Enjoy it while you can cool.gif

I could say that I'm tranceaddict, but still have the same feelings sometimes. Something have to change in trance music (no only in trance in all types of course) periodically. Even if it'll be very beautiful, touching, rocking etc, you'll get tired to listen to the same melodies all time!
