I don't have to say more words about this event than just these two:
OMG and WOW ohno-smiley02.gif biggrin.gif

Around the clock of 21.00 we met at the Rotterdam Alexander station with our friends to catch the train/metro to the Ahoy'. We arrived at about 21.30 and it was not very crowded already. At 22.00 the gate was open and we had to walk a small end to the entrance. It went really fast and when it was about 22.30 we were already inside with our jackets already in the locker wink.gif

I brought my digital camera so we could make great pics of the night biggrin.gif

We went inside and already heard the sound of Roland Klinkenberg - O-Matic cool.gif While entering the hall we saw the same decoration as on Dance Valley, the big Armada boat smile.gif The rest of the hall had big videowalls and other things which had something to do with the theme boats and water smile.gif

Armin wasn't spinnin live yet, but he was preparing the audience for the start. He spun live from behind the decoration and a camera was showing what he was doing on the big videowalls smile.gif
At 23.00 we thought it would start, but Armin went on and on, even at 0.00 he still wasn't there... finally at 0.30 the record was turned down and the MC told us what was going to happen...

He presented very well, but when he was finished a huge firework show was coming with fontains and big bangs and we were off for a great night!

Armin really did a great job over there! lot's of good tunes (as you can see in the tracklist topic wink.gif) He also invited some guests.... Jan Vayne came to play Sensation Anthem, Serenity and Communication Part 3, but he played not good, he was completely out of rhythm... dry.gif
The other performances were awesome! Ray Wilson sang Yet Another Day and Gipsy, Armin's brother played live @ guitar at some traxx, Susanne came to sing Shivers live (OMG she has a voice... damn biggrin.gif) and Nadiya Ali came to sing Who's Watcing and Rapture from IIO.... the best performance was from dutch rockband Racoon. The track Love You More is a ballad, but Armin made a huge trance edit of it ohno-smiley02.gif

About 07.15 the party was almost over and Armin played his own remix of Solar Stone - Seven Cities... damn what a track... he had to cry and the crowd was only screaming, coz it was such a great night biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
After these traxx Armin closed with Way Out West - Mindcircus (Gabriel & Dresden remix) and Armin van Buuren ft Justine Suissa - Burned With Desire... ohno-smiley02.gif

This was a night we will never forget!!!! biggrin.gif

So clear this up for me guys. Before the big intro for Armin it was just a pre-recorded set of him playing for the crowd? i.e. he only really played live from Sail onwards? unsure.gif

He was playing live the whole night
It was just like Tiesto, he was playing behind the stage
You could see him play on the big screens biggrin.gif

Ah ok cool. There was a rumour going around that he wasn't playing at all until he came on stage. Great night though, really enjoyable the 5 or so hours we had on radio. Can't wait for the DVD release.

OMG what a night it was!! Jan Vayne was the only critical point, why didn't he shoot him at the stage... would be awefull if they put that on the DVD tongue.gif

It was really a succeeded night. Nothing more to add biggrin.gif. Also i was really surpised by the really great performance of racoon. It was really an awsome and great show. Ive took a little break at 4.00 AM for 20 mins but for the rest i partied and danced all night long thumbsupsmileyanim.gif. And also i disliked the performance of Jan Vayne

Also made some movies with my GSM, only on a very bad quality and abit away from the stage sad.gif
