I was digging through some old boxes, and found this (among many many oakenfold bootleg tapes and chemical brothers bootlegs):
One of Paul Oakenfold's first... "Essential Mix 1"
f**kING GRAT.. a blend of house, prog trance and a little goa at the end
1. E'Voke: Runaway
2. Inaura: Coma Aroma (Perfecto Dub)
3. Brother Grim: Survive
4a. The Prodigy: Skylined
4b. Unknown Acapella "What Is My Next Assignment? I Am Hungry(?)"
5. Man With No Name: Floor Essence (Dayglo Mix)
6. Grace: Down To Earth (Oakenfold & Osborne Dub Mix)
7. Utah Saints: Star (Red Jerry Dub)
8. Virus: Sun (Jam El Mar Mix)

Unfortunately, my bootleg is missing track 8 sad.gif
Still, f**king CLASS mix, anywone else heard it?

Yeah, that rings a bell, I was in love with Oakey's Goa phase.

By the way, I've got Virus - Sun on CD single still from back in the day - it's like a Goa version of Grace - Skin On Skin/Orange with a harder edge.

Personally, I still can't get enough of Snap's VE Day essential mix from May 1995, it's probably the best one there ever was apart from Oakey at Lotherton Hall in 1999.
