laugh.gif you give that tune a new perspective!

finally listened to the whole set. Track 1 and 3 are a bit too weird for me but the others i really enjoyed listening. Some partystompers there!

06 Cirez D - Knockout - i thought also about playing this tune in one of my experimental playlists for the competition, but i have it under the name "Eric Pryds - Knockout" (i thinkPryds often steals tracks and puplished them under his name, like secret service rockset under eric pryds - fading like a flower) offtopic.gif

party on!

Good to know. And what´s about that Thomas Bangaltar and DJ Falcon - Call on me thing? he made much money with this one. Thomas Bangaltar is one of daft punk i think.

You are right, ill try also to be open minded. The music taste evolves over the time so its possible its also my kinda music some day cool.gif
Didn´t said the tracks are bad only not my kinda taste @ the time

Ok Zuli...finally got time to listen to ur set m8...and what can I say...a very EXPERIMENTAL set... biggrin.gif

Ok...here's a quick review for ur set...its not A review..but just a quick recap.. tongue.gif

Ok..AWESOME set opener...I'm a big fan of Galvanize...and this remix is just awesome...smile.gif

Nice mixing to the second track...falls nicely with galvanize... .

Coming on the 3rd track..mixing sounding good...then at 11:30...the track beatmatching falls...then the sudden drop of the beat is intoduced....here the mixing is not that good..u could hear the two kicks from the two tracks clearly... .

The 4th and 5th tracks just drop the build up down a bit..I felt that they're a bit too fast for the set... .

At 42:00...a new track starts...its bass and gain seem lower than the previous track...I guess you should've increased the gain... .

At 48:29...the song starts a bit early...a small problem with beat matching and bass control...but it sorts out after about 30 seconds... .

Mixing in other tunes is pretty good.... .

I guess you can see from the "little" review rolleyes.gif that I'm concentrating more on mixing aspects...its just that I'm not into this type of music at all...I mean the first 2 tracks for me were awesome...then the build up for the set for me started fading away...but on the other hand...if someone does enjoy this type of breaks/house..they'll find the set WAAAY above average...(that's pretty good laugh.gif )

As always Zuli...comin' up with innovative sets...and not afraid to experiment with tunes...and apart from some hints of missbeats and equalizer work...you've made one hell of an experimental excellent set...smile.gif

Btw...why don't u check out my set as well...its uplifting trance all the way...will get u pumped up real hard... laugh.gif and was played on radio here...and mixing is pretty good IMHO... tongue.gif

Good luck in the comp...smile.gif

Cheers

Hey no problem dude.

Btw have you checked out the latest Paul Woolford Essential Mix from last weekend? I think it'll be right up your street.

Its the best mix I've heard in a long time, and blows that Angello & Ingrosso EM out the water.

nah thats just how the track in the background is...the mix goes on till the end of the track which is 12:07 smile.gif i could send u the track so u know what i mean...

thats also just how it is...ull have the same feeling when u hear anybody else (as in DJs who usually play this track like james zabiela or nic fanciulli) play it..i used to feel the same way untill i got the single wink.gif

yeah i definately f**ked up with the beat matching there but it only tool me 4 secs to sort out not 30 tongue.gif just a touch of pitch bend smile.gif
and the song didnt start early, it started at the last 50 something secs of at the rave

anyway im REALLY glad u took the time to listen and review the set m8, ill def listen to ur set too and post feedback ASAP wink.gif

still havent managed to listen to pauls em yet, even tho its on my hard drive...but the tracklisting looks super sweet biggrin.gif

i was a bit disappointed with the angello & ingrosso em too...the new Buy Now track isnt that good at all, but i did like the metallica/dancin booty cool.gif
