Ok here it is: my new mix for the 5th Contest. I think this might be my best set this year, coz I worked very long on it to get the right tracklist. I hope you guys enjoy... coz here's another DJ Diamond Style mix

What's with track 1? Are you allowed to use that?

Cellec who is a judge also is my best friend and gets permission for these tracks, he also provides me sometimes with the latest tunes (on request) so it's legal yes...

1 thing more: I already told Cellec to judge my set fair and not giving me higher marks coz he's my best friend

downloaded it, listened to it, and i have to say its a nice mix!
your technical part in mixing is very good.
one thing that have to say is that the trackselection isnt very original, but thats my point of view!

Downloaded, tracklist looks nice, Diamond style all the way nice to see it contains Explodera but thrust me, it won't influence my judging

Well what can I say, nice set, after listening to every set posted, I realized that there are only 3 djs at this point who will be considered 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Out of respect I will not post their names here, if you are one of them, well you know who you are.

hehe sounds good tracklist also looks nice, maybe some more known tunes but it doesnt have to ba all exlusive, i know my upcoming set wont be

Yes, true, but I have to go with what I see and hear, so far I heard only 3 good sets, the rest are not my style.

Ok, I guess I have to explain my self. If I dont like certain style of music, because it will not give me any pleasure listening to as trance would, so on this note I would not pick any one of those sets, because I did not enjoy listening to them. If you like them more power to you, because if you like anyone of those sets, well then I am definatly spinning a wrong style in a wrong competition. Well enjoy all sets, Peace!

Ok..had a listen to the set...and here's a "quick" review...

Ok..first tune..Ghost..played dozens of times on ASOT..and is a pretty good set opener... .

I would've chosen either another tune instead of david west's sounds rushing or another set opener...cuz I didn't feel that they went well together...I mean..ghost is too soft for sounds rushing in terms of beats... .

Excellent mixing between sounds,motorcycle and bad deal...and now the set's building up... .

The mixing from inertia to my religion just doesn't sound right...its technically ok..but the entrance of the tune during a break just doesn't suit the set...though My Religion is one of my all time fav tunes...

The mixing from my religion to riley and durrant's tune was excellent...but the mixing from durrant to cellec's tune was poor imo...u could clearly hear probs in beat matching...u could've completely closed the bass here... .

Arizona and Cellec were mixed fine..but IMHO..you could've played labyrinth after riley and durrant's new..they fit in better..and u could've played cellec's tune after them... .

All in all...a good mix...but the thing that let's it down a bit is the build up..its not bad...but could've been better and the tracklist and tracklist order... .
Mixing was very good..except in 2 or 3 tracks..minor glitches...
