I want to add a 2006 calendar to the ukta store before november 2005. So we need artworkr to add to it.

If you want to help out with designing artwork to put into the calendar then please let me know here, and post any artwork here.

Image Guidelines

Size: 11 x 8.5 in.
Full Bleed: 11.5 x 9 in. (trimmed on calendar to 11 x 8.5 in.)

Download a 200 DPI template

We need 12 images for one calendar. They can all be of the same kind of theme. Any theme you want. However they must be your own design. Copyright laws mean we would be in dangerous water if we included images of DJs, models, etc without their concent.

However if you wanted to contact djs/labels about using their logos/images in the calendar then that would be ok also

So hopefully this can be an interesting project for you guys.

All entries need to be i by november 2005.

Well, this sounds like fun for me, that's for sure... But don't know how soon I can do it, cause school starts in like a week. Hopefully I will still be able to do something.

Have one question though... do i have to add a border to the image or not? Because I didn't really understand what they're saying in that template about it.

save and open the template in photshop. If the image goes right to the edge it will be full bleed size, so no white border around the edge. If it goes to the pixels their might be a white border. Its for people who want a totally blue background etc without a thin white line around the outside.

Wow ! yes count me in I'll have a go - are those dimensions for portrait or landscape?

It depends how many enteries we get. It might have to be 2 or 3 pics per person.

well if you wanna do 12 do 12, coz then you could have your own themed calendar

There is no minimum or maximum. If everyone wants to create 12 we can have 4 or 5 calandars, then one calandar with the best ones

what could be cool is if maybe on the back of the calendar, on a blank
page, there is something like 'UKTA family' where it displays all the nicknames
of the owners, moderators etc, and possibly the most active members?

would be cool to look back at it in the future

I'm in the process of designing a cartoon strip, "A day in the life of a UK trance addict" for the calendar, using my pics of this years global gathering, so no copyright issues

and what are peoples ideas, i know some people may not want to give away their ideas but it might help the other members to come up wiht some.

for instance my "idea's" are a few images yet to chose them of people dancing (maybe) and photoshop it to make it look colourfull and pretty adding a few Trance music themes
