The more I listen to Marcus on the Global DJ Broadcast the more I like him... the last few sets posted on this site have been amazing... even better than ASOT 2005 in my opinion and I think Armin is the best. Does anyone agree with me? has anyone seen him live?

Markus has a huge following here on this forum. I think this year especially he has really found his neesh in his sets. They are so beautifully crafted, and his sets are a joy to listen to at the moment.

7-14-05 GDJB is unreal... try to get a copy of it. It was on the main page, but was replaced by new sets reciently. I've brrn listening to in non stop and it just keeps getting better.

I've been to South Beach once in my life, and I was forunate enough to see Markus spin at Club Space. He really knows how to feed energy to the crowd. I don't dance, but even I was jumping up and down that nite. His GDJB means a lot to us tranceaddicts in the States, and I gotta give UKTA props for providing his broadcasts to the leechers.
Some GDJBs that have been Live:
Markus Schulz - GDJB Live @ M.I.A. Lounge Coldharbour Sessions 2004 (03.22.04)
Markus Schulz - GDJB Live from L5 @ San Diego (11.13.04)
Markus Schulz - GDJB Live at Panama, Amsterdam (01.29.05)
Markus Schulz - GDJB Live from Godskitchen Birmingham, UK (06.25.05)

Markus Schulz rocks. For me, he is really starting to reach AVB levels with his mixing and selection, without Armin's tendency to play a tune he likes week after week, followed by a remix of that tune for a few more weeks. Anyway, I come home thursdays, DL ASOT and GDJB, then have what to listen to Friday at work.

I'd place him above Armin, but thats because I'm not into really epic stuff that Armin plays a lot of ! Also I prefer Markus Schulz production wise aswell. I'd say in another few years he'll be up there with the likes of Armin, Ferry, PVD et al

Markus is probably the most underrated dj on the planet and GDJB rocks BUT... I have found his sets to be too much of the same thing lately. I dunno if I've heard him too much or what but I'm getting tired of hearing him play the same tracks week after week... Still one of my favs tho!

Have to admit that as well, GDJB-episodes were quite weak for the last 3 months. We also got some great episodes like the last one, but the quality was a bit better in the past.
We should actually blame the summer: not that much new releases

I saw him @ Spirit in NYC with G&D. The thing that really puts Markus at the top of my list is the fact that, not only does he play great tunes, but he's really into it when he mixes. that in turn really gets the crowd into it....as opposed to DJ's who just stand up there and don't really move or interact with the crowd. he's just awsome to catch live

He is at the top of my list of the DJ's who I haven't seen..I am really close to flying somewhere just to see him spin..I don't think he'll ever come to Texas..if so, maybe Dallas
he is top notch in my book. verrrry underrated. He is only really appreciated by people who really know their music

Yeah, I gotta admit if it weren't for Markus, I wouldn't be so fortunate to have so many wonderful live sets from the Glodal DJ broadcast that I do.
A die-hard trance fan, I'm really liking his style - I listen to music about 8 hours everyday, and with his proggy sets they provide a nice ambience for me to go about my work.
Thanks Markus!!
I haven't seen him yet - he's not yet visited Australia - you must come and tour here - especially SE Queensland!!

I have to say markus has gone little down hill lately imo. Coldharbour Sessions was amazing compilation, Miami 05 was much weaker and i dont mean just the tracks but also mixing was better in CH Sessions. And i dont like the fact that markus has played lots of more trancier tunes lately in GDJB but i guess that could be cause theres not just enough good new prog tunes around. Maybe GDJB should be broadcasted just every 2 weeks.
Also i dont find his latest tracks/remixes to be as good as they use to be say about year ago, though the remix he made with Elevation of Eluna's Severance is exception, i like that alot. Sounds like Markus tracks should

I saw Markus Schulz last year with Armin Van Buuren. Great night!! Markus should do a solo tour in the US. He could fill clubs all over the US. I hope he releases Without You Near in the US.
