If you´re not familiar with IRC, or if you´re too lazy to install/use any irc-client, you can simply chat via your browser.

Webchat
- enter your nickname
- select another canal from channels-menu
- select server
- connect
- in server-window, write the following : [b]/j #UKTA[b]
- and you´re there!

Great idea Astar, is there any way you can join the chatroom without IRC (i.e. through a Java applet)?

plenty of java scripts to join the channel in a browser. Just need to upload the html file to a server

I didn´t find any working Java Applet
Guess you´ll have to install mIRC for example if you want to join us

you dont need an applet, have a look around, all you should need is javascript, and edit for your channel

to use the irc channel via your browser: http://chat.efnet.org/irc.cgi and type: /join uktrancealliance

Example:
/server mesa.az.us.undernet.org 6666

I think there should be a : there, like this: /server mesa.az.us.undernet.org:6666 Maybe it helps.

Try turning off your firewall. Maybe you have a block there.
