I just saw in the rules, that the winner will be able to mix the ukta cd. I think thats a hell of an idea

I can't find what is the limit length of the mix and what quality should we upload the set 128, 192 , 320 or what?

And another thing, what if in the end, I can not mix the UKTA CD if I won this contest?

Max length is 1 hour, quality is up to you.

Would be a pity if we would miss a nice mix, because we have too many Dj´s

Indeed, fact is that we combine this contest with the UKTA CD contest. The judges don't have much time to do their judging because of that. Judging takes a lot of your time as well.

We can maybe increase the amount of sets for the next contest, it all depends on the judges and the amount of time that they need to finish judging.

all i can say is i am going to jump off the building if i dont get in and why cant we just do what we did in the past first 20 get in everyone else is on a backup i think its only fair anyway if you cant sign up on time obviously its just not that important

regarding the amount of posts necessary to be part of the contest, i think there shouldn't be a minimum to participate. there might be many good djs making quality sets who just "are not so talkative" and cant participate because of their posting.
id like to participate but cannot do it fir this reason.
is there anything you can do to change this rule?

I'm gonna drop out too guys. The prize isn't really of any use to me, and I'd hate to be included in this at the expense of a more deserving dj.

I phrased it badly I guess. If I won, I'd probably end up giving away the hosting part of the prize (although I'd still love to mix the CD). I'd just prefer to see the prize going to someone who'd appreciate it more. And there doesn't seem to be a shortage of entries for the compo anyway.

I was participating just for the fun man. But since there seems to be more than 20 entries now, it might mean that my participating would mean the exclusion of someone else who really wants the prize.

Is confirmed Black Hole, I'm out of the contest, but for different reasons than Bricky's.

I was given some remixes by my label I want to focus on them, plus I have some collaborations running as well, and two guest mixes planned.
Other is that I don't feel like the added prize "mix the UKTA CD" is actually a prize but a
huge responsibility that I'm not willing to take just for the fun of it if I happened to win.

sorry, but I feel I'm way too busy to also focus on this contest

I'm very busy with school, work and producing my own tunes (for UKTA CD and promotional stuff for my carreer) so I think it's not smart to do it again. Comparing with the lots of hours I spent in the last mix (getting a nice TL) and I also did not dj since last mix contest. I promise to be back as a dj sometime
