So should we remove Zocalo and Killa from this week's poll?

Well, not up to me really, Sandy should have the final say, since she runs the poll.

But maybe this could be made a sticky in the section so it would act as a useful checklist before future polls are made for the future favourite.

Might be better just to leave it in for this week since people have already voted for Zocalo and Killa, but if previous winners are removed it might make the vote more competitive, and the list might be useful when it comes to the awards at the end of the year.

Hey good idea ! nice topic .. all UKTA's favourites from ASOT ! .. and at the end of the year perhaps some of our DJs would like to make a megamix or something ..

.. hmm .. i would start removing the previous winners from ASOT 211 and leave the ASOT 210 poll as it is now since some of those tracks have already been voted there ..

Maybe we should also encourage everyone to post what they have voted as well, to avoid a situation like we had in the vote for ASOT 209.

ah well the most members have voted for a track that was quite nice but its always the same... more than 10 ppl vote for the same track and...
hm what i actually want to say is most of the members have bad taste...
the first episode where armin played Top Gear... naahh ok thats enough

yeah .. i was thinking something like that .. i don't like the idea too much tbh .. but i don't like what happened at that poll either, so i think we need to do something about it ... we could count as valid only those votes that have a comment from people .. so .. to set an example, if Killa has 10 votes at the poll but only 3 comments from the people who have voted for it, we just count 3 votes .. what you think ?

Yeah definitely right, I just thought it was suspicious that nobody was voting for Aly & Fila when it was still an unknown ID before the official playlist was posted. Plus it's not a huge effort to post what you've voted, it only takes a few seconds.

^^ Yep that was weird really, i thought perhaps many people who don't speak english didn't want to write anything there and just make their vote .. but from now on it will be easy, everybody will have to leave a comment with at least the name of the tune .. that will be enough for their vote to be counted .. i'll write this rule at the first post at the ASOT 211 FF poll next week .. and no exceptions ..

Why remove tracks if they are voted top? This could be a virtual top 10. So you can say which track was most popular in what year as it spent so many weeks at the top, etc

maybe it is a nice idea that we do a monthly poll for the Future Favourite of the month and at the end of the year from every month the winner to decide the Best track of the year
As most tracks in that list are from ASOT episodes and it will be a lot easier
