For the past few months (and this past week in particular), I'm suffering pretty unbearable pain with my wisdom teeth cutting through. I've heard of a lot of people who get their wisdom teeth removed.
So, are there any of you who've been in the situation where you've contemplated getting them removed, and if you have, was there much pain involved?
Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, you must take'em out because they mess up your front theet and they're difficult to clean up.
You're gonna be unable to eat solid things for a week

OUCH !
Edit: Oh I forgot: If you're gonna take'em out, take the all 4 at the same time, don't wait several months to take out the others.

go to the dentist

and for me not to be able to eat is really...

but yes if you can't bear the pain then its better to get them out

What is your age Impact ??
Because with 1 of them I had a terrible pain when he came through
The 'mountain' in my mouth became so big that I couldn't eat for 2 days
The others went without pain

I'm 22. I started feeling them around 4 months ago, but this past week my top-right corner is where the pain is stemming from.

Do you have them already or do they need to grow
I got the first at the age of 13
And the last one came this year

Most of them are still in their early stages but one of them is half-throughl.

i still have my wisdom teeth... they're all straight perfect in line with my other teeth...
i go every 3 years to the dentist and pay him lots of money to say that they're perfect... never had something removed or fillings or braceless (or how you may write that)
at least one thing that i'm proud of

depends, mine were growing horizontal so taking them out was a must, but id say tae them out, they get cavities veery fast, usually because the majority of people dont brush all the way back there, or its just too hard, either way its gonna hurrt, so have them surgically removed. preferably two at a time, you'll be good 2 go in a week

dental care in sweden is free of charge when u're under the age of 20. My dentist told me "u will have problems if u keep your wisdom teeth" so we decided to remove em all when I was 19 and they werent even visible.. they cut em out. no pain, and it was really done really quickly. they had no roots and s**t.. so they were easy to remove. its far worse when they are big and fully grown (not that I have experience from that) but from what Ive heard .. they tend to fall apart when the dentist tries to remove em and u suffer twice as much.

Same here, but I already know that there is no space for them in my mouth. The dentist already showed me that with an x-ray photo
But so far so good.

i haven't really talked about this with with my mates/family before, so do people generally get them removed or just let it stay ?

i've never had any problems with my wisdom teeth, as of yet, but
considering ure in pain, get them removed.
they are after all useless
Ive had terribe problems with my wisdom teeth, sometimes making it amost impossible even to eat cos its too painful, however i stuck it, because getting your wisdom teeth removed is meant to be one of the most painful dental procedures, becuse the root o the wisdom tooth is curved in a C shape and therefore makes it more difficult to remove than any other tooth!! plus its at the back of your mouth, keeping your mouth open that ong can't be comfortable! however if they do start messing up your teeth and teeth begin overlapping then u might have to get them removed!!
