Amazing video via NASA today as they try to fix the loose 'padding' between the tiles. Hope it all goes well.

Take a look at the live feed:

What a great landing biggrin.gif
Too bad it was night time
But it was great to see it land safely after the loss of Columbia

Yeah glad they got home safe. I was lucky to see one land in Florida in 2002, they come in incredibly steep and very fast. Here's a couple of pictures I took at the time. Ambition is to go back sometime and watch a launch.

Shouldn't the 2.5billion pounds needed for that mission have gone to Niger in Africa.

Shouldn't we fix our own world before we go searching for others???

agree, and we shouldn't be that dumb to search for others... they will come to us as we see a lot of UFO's

btw... we already know there should be intelligent life somewhere else, imagine how large space is cool.gif

errrm.... hate to say this but... (from the BBC)

lack of UFOs

"The county's branch of British UFO Hunters says it responded to 60 reported sightings in 2003 - so far this year there have not been any."

It's gone all quiet out there.... wink.gif
