Hey im interested in getting into Home music production....
Id like to know what are good programs to use and where to get them (if possible) also some tips on the subject would be appreciated
Some people hae recomended FL studio for begining

Fruity Loops is good... I'd also reccomend Reason, and Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (I think that one is known as Adobe Audition now) Those two programs can start you off QUITE nicely.

Yes i agree... first you have to start with Fruity loops.. it's the most easy prog around i think. I use Reason 2.5 now.. great program! And use Sound Forge instead of Cool edit.

I use WaveLab...however, can it be considered as a music production software? I really don't use it much other than creating montages and editing tracks, thats about it!

yea me too. reason is great for producing and cool edit pro is great for mixing and things like that imo

men i starts for a long time ago with music and music 2000 an the sony playstation and then i jumped to reason 2.5 reason 2.5 is an big rpgram but it is amazing when u have the flow to work with it hard work but when it runs it is an amazing progam but i think not for beginners

Agree.. Reason is a bit difficult for beginners.. But when u know it,, you can make some nice t0nes
