If You were given the chance to speak one on one with a terrorist. What would you say to convince him/her to stop doing what he/she is doing. To stop causing so much pain to the world. To not kill more innocent people. To open up his or her heart and see that there is more to life then giving it up over a false cause. What would you say? What would you try to show him/her?

i think its just too hard to convince someone whose that fanatic about something, its the same all around the world, to convince someone to leave his beliefs, and go to something that is unknown to him is almost imposible.

The terrorists are brainwashed.
They are convinced by some lame guy who said to them that when you kill he'll get 100 virgins and a place in heaven.
They don't kill in the name of Islam.
They kill to create fear and anger around the world.
As you see that now in Egypt, they don't take Europeans or Americans.
They take everyone, even Muslims

maybe the best way to stop terrorism is not to give a f**k about it
i mean they enjoy it when people fall in panick and have fear, so if we just dont pay attantion to them they will calm down, it will get them angry like why the hell arent these people paying attention to us... well at least thats what i do

AIT is right: they are brainwashed. At least many of them are. I did my university degree in Israel back when suicide bombing started. It was shocking how quickly life returned to normal, especially after it happened more and more. Anyway, I don't remember if this happened while I was still there, but the police caught some suspicious-looking kid who looked very nervous as he was wandering around a bus station. The kid was strapped up with explosives but couldn't get on a bus and pull the lanyard. When they interrogated him, he told them it was because he didn't want to die. He basically explained that his leaders tried to convince him of the wonderful afterlife he was going to have, but in the end he never believed what they said and, more importantly, he didn't want to die. Crazy stuff.

I remember this too..It happened between palestine and Israel.

the problem with British islamic extremists living in the UK is that their philosophy is hippocritical and contradictory. They constantly spread hatred of the UK and the West and yet they are quite content living here and enjoying the same luxuries that their 'enemies' do.
