In Ireland the majority is against HH and all its forms. Is it like that in the UK cos I go to the UK all teh time and love the clubbing scene, was jsut curious.
Its mostly the techno heads (purists) but others tend to jump on the bandwagon

There is still a very active hard dance scene in the UK. Its halcyon days were in the mid to late 90's with Trade and Sundissential. Like most forms of edm at the moment it is out of fashion. There are far fewer weekly nights now but there are still large events organised by Tidy and monthly Goodgreefs. I believe there are other things going on in the south too. Hard house has never really been my bag though and seems to be something that young clubbers get into a grow out of relatively quickly.

definitely. Sundissential is still a regular night which tours the country as is Polysexual (although thats mostly held in Birmingham nowadays). The Tidy Weekender attracts thousands of cluubers every Summer as well...

Personally I don't like it, seemingly it's all become about trance classics being remade and speeded up, there doesn't seem to be much originality coming out of the scene.
And welcome to UKTA.
