Dear Discogs User,
As you will have noticed, Discogs was offline since yesterday. We experienced a cascade of problems with the servers yesterday that ended with the whole site inaccessible to everyone including the system admin's. Since then, we have been working hard on a solution to getting us up and running again.
Thankfully, the server that hosts the help.discogs.com site has been revived, and this may allow us to get the whole site running again. However, this is an extremely technical job, and may take some time to complete.
One of the web servers has come back online now, but it is very slow and there are no images ect either.
I would like to ask everyone to please
NOT hammer the server (i.e. constantly hit refresh etc), and I would advise against trying to do anything at all until we manage to get the site running smoothly again.
We apologize, and ask you all the be patent while we try and figure out a solution. In the meantime, if you need to contact me with an urgent matter, please use the form at the bottom of
here.
Yours Sincerely
Nik | Discogs Community Manager
Sorry for the continuing poor / non-existent performance from the site, we are running on 1 web server that is half-working, the other one is down still. We are working on a solution, and will try to revive the performance over the next 24 hours. Thank you for your continued patience, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!
