Right we have had no end of domain name issues, so i have put all the domain names back to the telivo default name servers.

Im going to leave them like that for 24 hours, and then put them all to the uktrancealliance.com nameservers. Then hopefully the problems will be at an end.

If you have email addresses with us, i apologise, but atleast the site will still be online, and accesible to all.

It looks however that the domain name has resolved correctly straight away to the telivo default name servers. So ill prob just put them to the correct ones tonight.

Just thought i shoudl let you know.

So currently we are running on the ip address of the new server and not the domain name.

Hmm. I am still having troubles with connecting. www.ukta.tk just gives me a blank page and www.uktrancealliance.com gives me the alert message:
"Alert! www.uktrancealliance.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again."

Fortunately, I still had the e-mail from when the change was first made and I was able to use the http://66.235.214.61/forum address. Is this only an issue with overseas IPs?

Be sure to bookmark the IP address till everything is sorted

Man, that does suck, dns/host switches are just never any fun. Fortunately I thought to check the forums today and get up to (ronski) speed!

I was so used to to use 66.235.24.61 that I memorized it...

but today tried uktrancealliance.com and it worked...

it is better this way

but uktrancealliance.com/forum still doesn't work... and mail system too...

thats because the domain name is setup as a redirect at the moment, and not set with the nameservers etc.
