i just think they make a board look really messy. im sure other members will usually point people in the right direction when the need arises.

any more than 3 stickys is force feeding people stuff. esp when its the kind of information you only need to read once.

I also dont like many stickies at the top of every forum. But the ones that are there are usually ones that every user should read. For example a new members thread, and people still post hello threads.

And on the point of a newbie forum ohno-smiley02.gif

LOOK ON THE FORUM INDEX FOR GUESTS AND NEW MEMBERS!!!

unfortunately people cant be arsed to read through all the FAQs. So tend to make the normal mistakes anyway, and mods deal with it quickly.

I actively go round regularly checking to see if stickies are still relevant, to keep them to a minimum. So the only existing ones should be extremely important, or to promote a subject, or website for obvious reasons.

Looked into it further and removed some stickies, the worst affected area is the liveset area, and i think ill make a sub forum to put all archived tracklists into, so you dont have to scroll have way down the page to get to topics.
