What's your favorite episode of A state of trance?
What's the reason it's that episode and not any other?

Mine is A state of trance 139 , simply because I was introduced to Above & Beyond - No One On Earth and the smashing Ozgür Can track; Irony

Blew me away

My favorite is 137 and 148... New sets is not amazing for me :-(( After ASOT 180, all ASOTs are very similar :-(( I download 196 and 197 ASOT and not hear anything new for me :-(( Hope, what 199 is not disappoint me! Waiting for 200 anniversary!

182 was amazing!
It's hard to put so many tracks cramed, but armin did so well! (no doubt~)

Indeed, the 2004 Megamix was something special.

Well, lessee. ASOT 176 hr 2 - In the Mix was awesome. However, as to my favorite full episode, well, that would be a toss-up between 190 (hottest tunes from Miami's Winter Music Conference) and 196 (all-around great mix--listened to it every day for a week and I still listen to it a couple of times a week). What can I say? I am an ASOT newbie!

XXL 171

I mostly like the older versions of ASOT, especially the XXL ones.

Sometimes i listen to episode 1 to 5, back in the early days, it makes me laugh coz Armin has improved on his radio skills so much over the years. One thing remained though: his positive and enthousiastic way of talking about trance and progressive music

And after visiting the offical release party of A State of Trance 2005 on the OceanDiva partyship in Amsterdam i like episode 188 very much. Armin refered to the party in this episode, telling us that a particular track "blew the roof off".

Agreed my favourite episode by far. The second hour where Armin played the Intergalactic bootleg and also pinkbox special - simple was absolute class!

well ive been only been listening to it for only a bit,but been a fan of armins work for years,and i must say i enjoyed ep 192

mine was 198 i really enjoyed this one and 193

194 was pretty good...
and 182.. of course

Oh yea, ditto that! 182 was a spectacular achievement, featuring so many huge tracks into two hours.

The first hour of 153 was just unreal

The show opened with Leama & Moor's remix of Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent) .... no show could go wrong with an opening like that


Any time I get worried about the direction that trance is going (after asot 199 for example), I just listen to that show: makes it all ok

Finally someone to mention 173-many-Xs-L. The Matthe Dekay set in it is one of my favorites

198 and 199 are really growing on me too...

I've been listening since 160~~. To me, the best was 185 or 186, I can't quite remember. Never heard 173, so I can't say. If anybody has 173 available, I would be interested in hearing stories about it.

182 n 196 for me!!

Number 200 has really done it for me yesterday ! Really great mix with all those classics . The G&D guestmix was also awesome .

I think ASOT 193 had a nice choice of tracks and of course the intro was fantastic
