Its difficult to say who the best DJ is today. Everyone is gonna have their favorites and preference. But I believe Armin, Tiesto, and PVD are at the head of the class! Markus Schultz is right behind them.

imo, neither armin nor tiesto are currently the best out there, both having just release substandard cd releases. atm, my fav dj is Danny Howells ^.^

Armin is a really great DJ. His mixing skills are better than Tiesto's ones in my opinion.

I like both of them, Armin and Tiesto are great.

Armin has been the Number 1 DJ the last 2 years without doubt!!

armin make very nice music and his sets are nice too.
but i prefer more to Paul Van Dyk, because the live sets from him are the best.
In Fritz Soundgarten he is like AVB.
But Tiesto, is not really the best for me, the best is Paul Van Dyk!!!!!

Armin got a radio show cause that Tiesto havent got time for that! No just joking, i do like Armin his mixing skills, but what he is spinning is just boring @ many points. Get your crowd dansing, not looking at the great decoration @ some party. Some breaks count over a 3 min, that far to long. Tiesto is still better cause he knows what they wanna hear.

Heared them both enough (Tiesto and Armin) to conclude that Tijs is still better!

Not listened to Armin much this year, but I always found his style far too mellow. For me Tiesto are PVD are much better DJs in terms of getting the crowd going.

I also mannaged to get the dvd Tiesto in Concert over the weekend...and must say it was brilliant... some of the mixing wasnt spot-on and yes i do believe it was a big night for him with alot of nerves...

BUT

Make a dvd with ARMIN in Concert....It will be to die for..and a hole different story

I'm not sure who's my #1 DJ at the moment. Armin is doing a fantastic job with ASOT, and Birth of an angel is one of my favourite tunes. Tiësto's last ISOS is also magnificent, and his show in Oslo two weeks ago was really great. Then there's Fred Baker with La part des anges and several other great tunes. Top producer, no doubt about that.

#1 DJ for me right now is Ferry Corsten, he won me on last Winter Music Conference March 25th @Club Space. But Armin Van Buuren is right next to him, because of his ASOT's and how speaks in his shows. Normally DJ's just play there set, this guy not only plays but speaks during the set of his opinions and what tracks were played, plus future tracks. I know both of these guys are great friends. To me Ferry and Armin are in another world right now! Trance Lives!

Even though Pvd is still my fav, I haven't heard anything outstanding from him since Cream 2003. Armin is not playing it safe, still pushing the boundaries and just playing the best uplifting, driving and make-me-wanna-dance trance!

Sometimes Tiesto is just not playing Trance (that I would dig to dance to ...)

i'm listening to him since asot 120, and i luv what he does

mixing skills are excellents and i can't wait seeing him @ nature one 2005 !!
