Hooray - I started the arrangement:

It's a totally different track than the first sample ... I used some melody and bassline ideas from an old tune of mine (which nobody knows luckily wink.gif )

So here's a sample of the arrangement I did today (raw version - not mastered yet, no fade-in/fade-out) ...

Paraphrazor - Expectations (New Version - Arrangement 1) (2:44)

Nice melody man.. the melody reminds me of some TV show tune or something..This could be very nice man! Only a sample that's a shame smile.gif
Hope you post the full one soon.. btw whas this the intro of the track or the "main part" ? smile.gif
Paraphrazor
The main part. I'm already working on an intro and improvements of the whole tune (damn I need FX samples) wink.gif

I thought I just post what I did in 8 hours ...

melody is very addictive smile.gif

Phantazm
not really my kind of melody, reminds me of a megaman game biggrin.gif
synths and drums sound good though, but the clap is a bit loud.
Sprigan
is the link already gone unsure.gif ? iam too late again
Paraphrazor
The link is in my first post and still working wink.gif

The song itself has changed a lot since I last worked on it (changed chords and melody), so be surprised for the next sample. Hopefully with a partial arrangement (man, I forgot how to build up a decent track)...

omg biggrin.gif

i'm not gonna mess about the environment (which sounds painful) but I really like it biggrin.gif

remembers me to a movie theme such as Miami Vice, especially that lead you use biggrin.gif Not my kind of style i listen regularly (Lead is a little too brassy for me (maybe a little too much "spread" FX too)) but at least i'm looking forward to hear the full deal biggrin.gif

Nice bass biggrin.gif
Claps are indeed a little loud

good luck biggrin.gif

In the words of Dj Huge:

OH YA..... WE HAVE A WINNER

Far too short to judge properly, but I love this sample anyways. Post up some more as soon as you get a chance biggrin.gif

looking forward to the entire tune dribble4.gif
Paraphrazor
Thanx for the positive feedback smile.gif

No not Fruityloops wink.gif

The "sequencer" I use is in my signature : Renoise.
It's a tracker.

I thought maybe it's time for a collab wink.gif

Hey Paraph i love it wub.gif
Sprigan
oh the new samples sounds very nice mate. well done. smile.gif
Astar
Nice to see that someone else is using Renoise too wink.gif

Nice fx's you´ve used in this one, bassline is quite good but that low bass that comes once in a while isn´t. Very good groove, great job with drums. Melody is good but it could be better. That pad also needs some delay and such, cut down low frequencies a bit too. Just some tips smile.gif

Overall this souds damn nice, just remember the mastering at the end tongue.gif

Waiting for the full one now then... cool.gif
Paraphrazor
Thanks for the constructive critics Astar... I will keep those tips in mind and hopefully I'm able to use those tips smile.gif Btw. how do you master your tracks with Renoise ? Do you render each track as seperate .wav file ?

The last track I finished was in 2001 with MadTracker 2 and I didn't care much about mastering - so I'm quite a n00b in it sad.gif
Astar
We usually render whole track with best quality options. Then we master it with different program, but actually i´m not taking any part in that thing, other half of this project is the "master-man" tongue.gif
