Tracklist changed...and I made a new and better set...progressive trance...just the mood I'm in right now...and this set pretty much shows how I've progressed in terms of mixing since the last UKTA contest I entered (2nd one )...for the better...

beautifull playlist for the exeption of andy moor i know halcyon is amazing but i would wait for full version before using otherwise looks yummy cant wait to hear it m8 good luck

Don't worry bout Halcyon... Its mixed pretty well in there...and sounds pretty good...can't really say its a reconstruction when u hear it in the set...

Glad u liked the tracklist...as much as I did...

listened to it last night very pleasurable set i actually kept on turning volume up from the first tune until it was really loud and found myself really enjoying your set mixing is almost perfect with few glitches that are not even that noticeable unless you are a dj great set good luck with contest my friend

nice proggy stuff, downloading now

Checked your set and must say that the first half of your set is better than the second half.... sceond half has some mistakes and (IMO) weird trackorder....

Overall good set m8! Nice mixing skills

The track layout I chose was to enhance the buildup...hence Sundown and Halcyon...then finishing of with two relatively proggy trance/house tunes...as the climax of the set was at Halcyon onto Big...then the beautiful Espen remix for Blue on Blue...just a laid out chilled remix...which makes u want more...

This is a proggy set....so the tracks have amazing beats with awesome synths...and I made it for myself to enjoy listening to it...and glad that u did...

enjoyed your set alot. nothing to complain really, good transitions and trackselection.

i really like this austin leeds remix, never heard it somewhere else

gr8 set ressemo,never heard most remixes &hey i said earlier it's a typical asot well after listening,it sounds nothing like asots,very different style,mixing is very good too &i'm in love with "Iio - Runaway (Austin Leeds mix)"
btw it seems u're really into vocal trance these days

The Austin Leeds track is actually about 4 months old...and I "re-discovered" it while browsin' through some of my old stuff...

Finally had some time to listen to the set, which is pretty good.

Did not hear your first contribution but I'll take your word for it that your mixing has improved cos this mix is good on a technical level, I'v heard a few off beats but those were well corrected except for the first one.

Track selection is good also.

This Set takes you in very relaxed mood.
Effects are used on good points and it sounds great
I think the buildup for this mix is also very good coz the steadiness catches you more with this kinda stuff.
Flawless mixing except some small failures on some transitions(nothing that disturbs)
One track that is unique in this contest and which i like very much is Iio - Runaway (Austin Leeds mix), but liked every track.
The only thing for me thats a bit negative is the missing intro.
Overall i really loved your Set!

First mix was spot on in terms of beat matching, but you could have started mixing in I Found You about a minute earlier, as the energy disapaited a little before the bassline kicked in. A nice little crossover at the 15:20 mark, well used EQ control. The beats were slightly out when bringing in Runaway, but the energy was nicely increased at this point. I thought u mixed in the voice sound of Sundown in very well, it flowed with ease over the outgoing track. Halcyon also flows in well and compliments the previous track. It's at this point where the mix goes down hill for me, A promise just doesn't feel comfortable being mixed in from Halcyon, the ending of the voices in Halcyon are slightly out of tune over A Promise. I personally would never play the Espen Remix of Blue On Blue, I really don't think the vocals fit well over the melody, but nevertheless it was still mixed in well, but didn't make a very good ending. Your mixing at the begining was great, and overall was pretty good, with only minor flaws in the beatmatching. I can't really give the set a high score for the build-up, as you have to accept that it doesn't lead anywhere, I know that the mix is meant to be relaxing chilled mix, but how can I rate it on build-up when it doesn't really have any? You did up the energy with the Runaway track though so I added a few points for that. Overall a solid mix, though nothing really exciting or original, but was still enjoyable.

Well thats the problem that we had having only two judges results I'm afraid, everyone has different opinions, and often those opinions can be very far apart so the end result is a split between the two. So the more judges you have, the fairer it is I guess, so hopefully the next time we can have 3 or more judges, and I would also like to see a fixed judging deadline.

Yep...agree 100 percent...and hopefully we'll c that implemented..

Though about the build up...the set started going up from runaway with sundown next which is a very energetic track and so on... .
