yep, that's correct... I would...
I made a few tracks for the UKTA Anthem competition but as far I finished them, they did not sound very well in the mix so I'm working the tunes some more out smile.gif

my apologies for that

But at least I have a little edit (track 10) of myself smile.gif smile.gif

tracklist looks amazing,

as you said cjbolland goes very well mixed with someones ( whistling.gif ) bootleg of Adagio For Lethal Traffic Love 643( tongue.gif ),
very nice edit btw.

sadly you didn't mix in any of your own productions, makes your sets different from the others.

very good set,

very good set,

thanks for the review biggrin.gif
as I already explained I could not finish the records I wanted to spin which I made specially for this set (and anthem competition) that's also why some tunes do not 100% fit in the style of the mix, I tried to fill the 2 gaps as good as possible smile.gif

u found a very good mixture of harder club traxx and melodic traxx! your set was never boring!!!

i dont know but i like your stuff wub.gif if u ever get a live gig send me a ticket plz dribble4.gif

if u wouldnt live so far away i would give your mix to my manager of the club where i play twice a week

thanks for the review, Tommy biggrin.gif
I don't think I'll ever do a set somewhere arround here coz i'm only do MP3 sofar (I even spin not more than 2 or 3 tunes a day poster_oops.gif ) Maybe I'm going to save money for CDJ's in a few months but my drivers license goes first smile.gif But I'm almost fulltime working on producing. You'll hear something about that soon wink.gif

For any bootlegs in the set, you know the PM button wink.gif
If not, then mail me wink.gif

Hmmm, very unique begining, nice! I've not heard the original before, only the Fire and Ice Remix, which you have perfectly mixed in at the symbols crash, well done there. Your next crossover isn't so good, the beatmatching seems to be in ok, but your EQ needs more work, and I think there was a little key clash too. The choice of tune works really well though, Waterflow is a great choice at this point in the mix. I really like how you mixed in Rapture. When listening to it, I wasn't even sure that you were mixing it in until I heard the vocal! Maybe too much bass drop when bringing in Approach but beat matching was exellent, though somehow I didn't feel it was a complement to the previous track. This is a very melodic and uplifting tune tho, it has qutie a classical feel to it. i feel that there is a lack of variety so far in your mix, each tune has been a huge anthem, which is no bad thing, but when used after each other it can lessen the impact that each tune has. The majority of your mix has been very melodical, but when mixing each tune is concerned, I think you need to focus more on in key mixing. This is only really an importance when two tracks are being mixed with the melodies overlapping each other, if the two tracks are out of key with each other, it can drastically effect the end result. I understand what you we're trying to achieve with the bootleg at track 10, but I couldn't really hear all the music under Martin Luther King vocal and found it a bit awkward to listen to. Nevertheless, it was still an achievement to put all those tracks together and shows that you have made an added effort to be original in your mix. This does lead quite nicely to the classic of The Prophet, I have this on white label somewhere but its in such a bad state that I cant play it anymore sadly! Overall, an enjoyable set with some unknown tunes that were a pleasure to listen to. Great opening, I would just advise you to vary the tracks that you use as you run the risk of it all sounding too similar. Watch the key clashes when mixing melodic tracks, your beat matching is good, but I think you need to concentrate more on the ordering of the set. Great work on the Waterflow to Rapture tune crossover though.

thanks for the review smile.gif

it's on all points better than my previous (first) entry so I think i'm on the good road smile.gif

now have to learn the keying and prepare some weapons for the next time smile.gif
