Abdul is now the new torrent admin. We will now be posting current sets for direct download also as torrent files, and archiving old sets so you can still get hold of them.

However this will only work if you help us, we need people to seed downloads. You dont have to download all the file to start seeding. Just make sure you keep the torrent client open when you are downloading, and after.

You can open the torrent client to seed the file at anytime. Eventually then it should make it easy to get hold of old sets shared by us, and reduce our huge bandwidth bill.

i have added a latest torrents bit to the main index page for the site, and im currently seeding the files.

We will be adding links to all of the downloads. And the torrents will be made from the uploaded zip files, so after downloading you can help us out and seed them

mmh .. i prefer direct downloads and i've never used bitorrent .. but if i understand well .. i can download a direct download and then i can help to seed the file just opening the torrent client ?

is it possible if the torrents arent in ZIP format?
cos for me, i dont usually keep the zip file after ive unzipped it. (like why would i? thatll just mean i have two of the same thing then just that ones zipped)

i was about to go and help seed ASOT 186 but... i realised that it was zipped so i couldnt help with the seeding there
well thats just my suggestion anyway

its easier for us to make the torrent from a zip file, or directory. And then we can include files inside. And also our torrent section wont let us link to .mp3 torrents

well i have some newbie's questions, if anyone can help me ..

1) i've been seeding the ASOT 187 and Tiesto's live at duch dimension sets, and my torrent client shows % upl/dnl sizes are more than 100% .. like 252.8 % for the ASOT .. what does it means ? (i'm still seeding it .. )

2) how long i should keep seeding the files ?

3) my average upload speed is about 13 kB/s .. is it ok ??

4) sometimes my donload speed is slower than the upload one .. it's annoying .. any suggestion ?

i am using bitcomet, it doesnt kill your download speed like bittorrent. Just search on google.

Otherwise the rest is fine, when yr client is closed your not seeding the file

The torrent-area is a nice idea...but I still prefer direct-dl!!!

i noticed today that the speed of the asot 193 torrent was faster than the beatboy server, thats a first. the speed actually got up to 450kbps.

i must congradulate fly on a torrential success, he should be a marketing expert. within a month of the torrent area launch, we are rivaling etn.fm and djm2k's torrent sections. 81 seeders on the above and beyond set...81!!!! we are even getting up to 500 completed downloads on the asot sets.

BTW I use azureus and bittorrent engine to optimize my speeds. I would rcommend ABC (Another bittorrent client) If your new to bittorrents and for people with experience azureus is a great client. for all you newbies to bittorrents check this site out:
