Do you like Pulp Fiction?!
Then you’ll probably love this tune…

MacMark aka Mark Nieuwenhuijzen from the massive duo Donald & Giles used a sample from the popular movie „Pulp Fiction“ and made a wonderful tech trance tune. The Vinyl comes with two mixes. The “Foot f**king Master Mix”, and an “E-Craig Remix” on the B-Side.

A. Foot f**king Master Mix

In this mix, there are some samples included which you may have heard in some other Trance or TechTrance tunes. Kickin’ Beats, great Bassline, some percussion and of course the sample from Pulp Fiction, “I give my mother a foot massage… I’m the foot f**king master”, where the Tracktitle comes from. And they all fit very well together…
It starts with kickin’ beats followed by a groovy bassline. Then it took some time and after the first break a small synth melody and a part of the Pulp Ficition sample starts, followed by some percussion and heavy beats. This part isn’t very long and the next break comes very fast where the beats, the bassline and the percussion is undertoned. You can hear it in the background during the most famous part of this tune. The whole “Foot f**king Master” sample from Pulp Fiction. Because of the undertoned beats and the Sample from Pulp Fiction, it seems as this was recorded in a club where two people have a conversation. Really cool effect… After that, the beats were going back to the normal volume and the track comes slowly to an end interrupted by some synths.

B. E-Craig's Filthy Footmassage

When I was listening to the E-Craig Remix, I thought “where’s the difference?!”. After listening to it 5 times in a row I came to the conclusion. The biggest difference between those two mixes is the typical rollin’ E-Craig Bassline, some harder beats and a bit heavier percussion, also a synth which sounds “smoother”. The sample from the Pulp Fiction movie is underlined by an ambience feeling synth.
The structure of this track is nearly the same as in the Foot f**king Master Mix, only a bit shorter.

Conclusion:

A massive release, which is playlisted by some of the big jocks like Marco V, Above & Beyond etc.
Definitely one of the best releases which are available at the moment.
