Hi all, I hope much people take a listen to my contribution of the UKTA cd.
It's still a very demo edit, although i'm working on this project many months.
I made the melody-line a few months ago on a 2nd computer but had some HD crashes. A few weeks ago, I found the original FL file again (thank god I made a backup here). Now I'm trying to finish it. It's just to give an impression what it's gonna be. I know I have to work a lot on the percussion so don't blame me about that but take a listen and give your opinion.
The track is based on the attack from aliens on earth

i really think that a Robert Nickson-ish bassline would suit this track really well

u got the foundation of a good melody there, jus sounds like something is lacking (and a bit repetitive). also maybe u could insert a break somewhere in the middle. like the 05:21, but after that it goes back into the melody too suddenly IMO

good demo so far, im sure you'll work on it more. but great start, possible great tune here

I'm going to work on the tune for sure.
Some things are too standard imo.
besides that I need to rework all the percussions and the FX in it.

BTW, I don't know how I came to that bass anymore
it's after the ,elody the oldest part of the tune

I've listen to you track and thought of the following things:

Think the buildup is too slow,, you could add the nice synth in 3:24 much much earlier.. get a little bit boring to listen 3:24 to just a plain bassline and some effects.. not that it's bad but i don't have that patience.. the rest of the track is pretty nice... really like the synth line,, but get's a little bit repetive to the whole track..sorry to say that.. I know your just producing..so i can say you have some talent there man.. i can't hear some real faults in your tracks
cut some minutes of the track and add maybe a bigger bassline... also make another stamping synthline after the break!! Hope i hear another preview soon!!!

The song is 8:33 long and I just could notice a bassline , a little pad in the background, the permanent Windy Effect and then the repetitive melody from minute 3:25 til the end of the demo.

I'm glad that is what this song is, just a demo, and not the finished product, you better add some variation to the track if you are gonna leave it with the same length, add more melodies, effects , and please, don't leave the windy FX in the whole song, I'd suggest to cut it right when the break comes in. (5:14).

You got powerful kicks, I like them, I like the bassline as well.

But the rest of the track needs lots of work.

don't forget this is the demo I made in september (I begun with FL in may 2004)
I have to say, there is one tune in my archive that I going to remaster (It's very bad now) I made that tune in August... It's calle Austrian Rocks. Besides that survived another tune some crashes but that's not a representative tune because I didn't knew how to make tunes in FL on that moment.
Besides that there are 2 another tunes lost who where finished at all I made them just after the summer hollydays... I hope I can make some remakes when I get the inspiration and melody back

Is someone interested in a very standardy tune I made exactly 4 years ago ?
